Food on ABC Trek
Trek to some of the world's highest mountain is obviously an amazing experience of a lifetime. However, to make a successful and memorable trip, remember one of the most important factors is the foods that certainly play a vital role to complete your journey successfully, so what foods are expected to be found in this region, the food on the Annapurna Base Camp trek is very convenient and has a pretty wide selection of food items on the trekking lodges menu, the most common and hygienic meals in this region found are given below, those standards foods are being served in the Annapurna region,
Common Meal options for the breakfast: Tibetan Breads (a fried bread in oil, it’s also named by Gurung bread in this area), Chapati with Cheese (dry bread- a local wheat bread), Oatmeal, French toast with jam, honey, and peanut butter, Corn Flakes, Hashed brown, fried, Scrambles and boiled eggs, pancakes, porridge with milk, Muesli, Vegetable items and any kind of hot drinks are available except espresso, Americano!
Common Meal options for Lunch: different verity of Thukpa (noodle soup), Dahl and Bhat (Nepalese local meal), Momos ( dumplings), Tibetan or chapatti bread, Macroni, Spaghetti, Sherpa Stew, a verity of soups, steaks, potatoes items, Sandwiches, Pizza, rice with curry, spring rolls, burgers and Pizza, yak steak and desserts items.
Common Meal options for Dinner: Momos (dumplings) different verity of Thukpa (noodle soup), Dahl and Bhat (Nepalese local meal), Tibetan, chapatti bread, Macroni, Spaghetti, Sherpa Stew, a verity of soups, steaks, potatoes items, Sandwiches, Pizza, rice with curry, spring rolls, Raman soups, burgers and Pizza, yak steak, desserts items, hot and cold drinks are available on the menus on tea house, the menu’s selected meals are fresh and healthy with hygienic specialists by the mountain for the mountain trekkers.
On the tea houses, During the trek, you will have some options of meat items at a lower area but as you reach higher elevations there are no meat options to choose for your food as it strongly prohibited by the local community due to some various reasons. However, the meats are not on our list of recommendations since meat in the mountain such at high altitude is not sanitary and healthy, we would like to persuade you to avoid taking meat, Alcoholic drinks, and smoking while Trekking to the ABC.
Deseret and Snack options: Apple Pie, Rice Pudding, fruits snicker or mars bar, popcorns, cakes, and pastries are available at the tea houses.
Hot Drink options: You can have a wide selection of the drink items such as black and milk coffees, black tea, mint tea, ginger tea, Green and lemon honey tea, hot chocolates, hot mango juice, hot oranges juice, hot pineapple juice, and many others.
Water and Drinks
You can easily purchase the bottled mineral water which is safe for drinking, the water is available everywhere at the small tea house and lodges it cost less than a dollar at the lower region and one dollar more at the higher altitude areas or other option, you can also refill the water from the taps or any water sources without paying, it's free but do not forget to purify before drinking, buy some water purification pill or electrify by Lifetraws for this sort of water procced. How Much Water Do I need to drink a day? the answer is at least 2-4 L water per day because you need to keep your body hydrated.
Accommodations on ABC Trek
Annapurna region is a well-established access trekking route in Nepal where you do not need to carry any tents for the trek, plenty of tea houses or trekking lodges are available along the way, the accommodations in this region are simple but convenient. During the 6 Days trip, you will be staying at the best available tea houses which will be ensured by the company, the rooms usually come in double occupancy with a wooden bed, blankets, mattresses, pillows, attached bathrooms but do not expect it every place. However, the view is spectacular from everywhere. Sleep in nature!
In addition, single rooms are available in this region and provided at your request except for two places of Himalaya and ABC.

The Best Time to Travel ABC Trek

Nepal is a landlocked country and it's an incredibly beautiful and rich country with a diversity of landscapes and people. Nepal has five seasons like many other countries such as spring, Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, and Winter. Among all these seasons there is mainly two distinct trekking season for Annapurna Base Camp or any region treks in Nepal which are autumn and spring.
Spring (Pre-monsoon): Spring includes Feb, March, April, and May, the weather in this month is largely stable and dry with a moderate climate. This time is fairly perfect for any treks in Nepal with good weather and the view is mind-blowing, the temperature is moderate and the sky is crystal clear. the average temperature can be 12 to 20 degrees Celsius in the daytime and the temperature at the nighttime can drop down to 5 to - 8 degrees Celsius, Trekking in Annapurna base camp in the Spring season welcomes thousands of flora and vegetation that make the trek more beautiful and enjoyable in Nepal.
Autumn (Post monsoon): Autumn is another great season of the year for trekking on Annapurna Base Camp, However, Autumn includes the months of September, October, November, and December. During the autumn, the temperatures should be rated as between 12 to 20 degrees in the daytime, and nighttime can decrease from 5 degrees C to -0 degrees Celsius which is great for trekking.

The guided Annapurna base camp Trek is a standard package with an affordable cost that one can afford by any average travelers, this trek will be accompanied by one of the experienced and friendly local trekking guides/ Sherpa who originally come from the mountain (same region) of Nepal, the leader/ guide will be carrying all the essentials equipment with first aid kit for safety reasons in the mountain; Note: we would like you to take some of your own personal mediation kits on this trek if you have ones. However, in the emergency case scenarios due to any circumstances, if our clients have any trouble with mountain sickness or any unforeseen circumstances then we will always be standing by to send a rescue helicopter to bring our clients back to lower places or Kathmandu, So this is why Travel insurance is mandatory for the safety guide positions to any treks in Nepal.
Passport and Visa
Traveling to Nepal is very easy for any travelers from all over the world, All the travelers have required a visa except for Chinese and Indian tourists, getting Visa for NEPAL is also very easy, you can get On AN ARRIVAL VISA at Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu arrival. Nonetheless, you need to enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal.
Visa Fees, forgetting the visa process of tourists there is a certain charge you need to be faced for Nepal, it's around 40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and Indian people. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you will get a free visa to enter Nepal.
Extra personal expenses
This trek is fully covered with your meals, essential trekking permits, guide, transportation, accommodations on a trek, etc, the foods (Lunch, Breakfast, and Dinner), the foods will be served as per package program and besides that, any personal and Barbier bills would be extra. We would usually recommend our clients to hold USD5 to10 per day for the personal expenses to use on the trek, Just in case if you use the laundry, battery, Phone cell, or drinking stuff.

Transportations
The travelers can get the good advantage of transportation from us as we provide a free airport pick up on arrival and drop off at departure, as well as we have a free offer for Kathmandu to Pokhara and back from Pokhara to Kathmandu by comfortable tourist bus. Besides that, Kathmandu to Pokhara to Kathmandu has a daily flight by airplane which costs around 128-123 USD per person for one way, the flight arrangements will be happily done bu at extra cost at your preferences.
Note: On your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our airport representative with the traditional flower or Khata then you will be reassigned to the respective Hotel. Similarly, we will also provide private vehicles for the city tour like Kathmandu valley sightseeing, Nagarkot Sunrise view tour, or any others in Nepal on request.

To process a trip booking with us, you're required to deposit only 10 percent of the full payment in advance in order to confirm the trip, your deposit helps to make the reservations such as Hotels, guides, trekking permits, transportation, etc. the remaining of the payment can be easily made to us on your arrival by credit cards or in cash - cash would be much appreciated. At the same time, we would also like to request you to send all the required documents such as passport, travel insurance copies, and flight details at the time of booking.
Last-minute booking
The last-minute trip booking is possible and it can be made by any of you through Online Booking or sending an email, message, Whatsapp, or by calling. The last-minute booking should be at least a day before the trip gets started (Any dates are welcome to choose and it's guaranteed) and the full payment should be made for the last-minute booking ones. Meanwhile, the last-minute booking for Bhutan and Tibet tours is not acceptable.
